Safety Clamp (Dog Collar) (DC)
The safety clamp is designed for handling and suspending drill pipes above the wellhead, with the capability to grip the plain section of the pipe, and drilling tools without an elevator groove. It is also used to secure downhole motors during installing into the bottomhole assembly or when adjusting the bend angle of the bearing section.
