Washover shoe
The washover shoe is used for milling metal debris, cement bridges, cemented metal objects, and stuck tubing in the annular space between the wellbore or casing wall and other components of the tubing or drill string during well remediation and repair operations in oil, gas, and geological exploration wells.
The washover shoe is manufactured from high-strength alloy pipe steel. The mill consists of a tubular body and a cutting-abrasive matrix. The cutting face of the mill is reinforced with high-quality crushed tungsten carbide embedded in a nickel-based braze matrix.
