Casing Exit Protection Mill-bit (2MBexp)

The 2MBexp mill bit is designed for reaming and calibrating wellbores. Its specialized geometry enables efficient milling of cement bridges, sand bridges, and cemented metal debris, as well as cutting through packer components, plugs, and other downhole hardware. The mill is manufactured from high-strength alloy steel. The cutting surface of the mill features a segmented design. This reinforced mill combines two types of cutting structure: hard-alloy inserts and PDC cutters. The end face and blades are reinforced with tungsten carbide–based cemented carbide hardfacing to minimize wear and maintain the mill’s full-gauge diameter throughout its service life. Tungsten carbide inserts with customized geometry ensure efficient cutting and high milling performance. The upper end features a standard threaded connection for integration into the drill string. Drilling fluid circulates through ports in the end face.
